Plagiarism Policy

Jurnal Inovasi dan Teknologi Pendidikan (INTEP) is committed to maintaining academic integrity and does not tolerate plagiarism or other forms of academic misconduct.

1. ORIGINALITY

Submitted manuscripts must be original works of the authors and must not have been previously published or simultaneously submitted to another journal.

2. PLAGIARISM

Plagiarism includes presenting another person's ideas, words, data, results, or other intellectual work as one's own without appropriate acknowledgment.

Authors must properly cite and acknowledge all sources used in their manuscripts.

3. SIMILARITY CHECK

Submitted manuscripts may be subjected to similarity checking as part of the editorial screening process.

The similarity result is considered together with the context of the matched text. A similarity score alone does not automatically determine whether plagiarism has occurred.

4. AUTHOR RESPONSIBILITY

Authors are responsible for ensuring that their manuscripts are free from plagiarism and other forms of academic misconduct before submission.

5. SUSPECTED PLAGIARISM

If plagiarism or other academic misconduct is suspected, the editorial team may request clarification from the authors and may take appropriate action in accordance with the journal's editorial and publication ethics procedures.

Possible actions include requesting revision, rejecting the manuscript, or taking corrective action when misconduct is identified after publication.
