This study aims to describe how digital da’wah content is utilized by students of the Islamic Communication and Broadcasting (KPI) Study Program at UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya to strengthen their Islamic literacy. The rapid growth of digital media has generated various forms of da’wah content that not only serve as sources of religious knowledge but also influence how students understand, filter, and apply Islamic values in daily life. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach with ten KPI students as participants who actively access digital da’wah content through platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and podcasts. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and documentation, and then analyzed using thematic analysis through the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that students utilize digital da’wah content as a source of informal religious learning, a reference for Islamic understanding, and a medium for shaping moderate religious attitudes. However, strong digital religious literacy skills are still required to distinguish credible da’wah content from that which is provocative or lacks a sound scholarly basis. This study affirms that digital da’wah content holds substantial potential to strengthen students’ Islamic literacy, provided that it is accompanied by critical and responsible information selection.
